You might have seen heavy equipment around Quiet Lake here at the Tree Tops — a major project is underway to repair some of the river rock runs that drain into the ponds.

Each area has a large sewer pipe that empties rain water runoff into the ponds via the river rock runs. We’ve monitored these areas over the past 5 years, and now they’ve reached the point where they need immediate repair.

The foundation of the sewer pipes has become compromised over the years and the heavy spring rains this year contributed to the significant danger of the foundation failing.

The repairs will cause considerable disruption of the outlot areas. Grass will be planted when the repairs are complete. The repairs should not cause damage to surrounding homeowners’ property.

This project is in accordance with the declaration of restrictions to maintain storm water management and drainage facilities.
